Who we are
Cruise Talk is an independent publisher of cruise travel guides. We do not sell cruises, take bookings, or handle payments.
What we collect
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles people read and how they arrive. This records pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type, browser and referring site. We use it in aggregate and cannot identify you from it.
Server logs. Our host records standard web server logs, including IP address, timestamp and requested page, used for security and troubleshooting and kept for a limited period.
What you send us. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply to it.
Cookies and advertising
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for analytics and, where advertising is enabled, for ad delivery.
Where we use Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can control personalised advertising in your Google Ad Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Your rights

In practice we hold very little: there are no user accounts, and analytics data is not linked to a named person. To make a request, email us using the address on our contact page.
